Sylvester earned his bachelor's degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana in 2020. During this time, he worked on the In-vitro Drug Analysis of Hyoscine Butyl-Bromide (Buscopan), a pharmaceutical drug quality control and quality assurance on spasm relieving drug on the Ghanian Market. Sylvester joined the doctoral program at USF in August of 2021 and his work focuses on the Antimicrobial Investigation of Compounds from Plant Extracts Obtained from Cameroon in collaboration with the University of Yaoundé 1.
